On this particular day, I woke up very early in the morning to get myself ready and prepared for the graduation ceremony that is to be held in school. Since the reporting time is set at 8.00 am, it is of my usual practice to meet up with my friends at around half an hour ahead of time. Frankly speaking, it has been a long long time since I last woke up so early in the dawn and I remembered clearly that the first thing I did when I got out of bed was to check on the condition of my 'acne-filled' face...
On the bus ride to school, I am glad to have come across several familiar faces whom had taken the same bus as me on every other school days in the past three years. Unlike the past when we had probably dragged ourselves to school with our lethargic legs and bodies, almost everyone I saw that day were clad smartly in their fomal dress code of white top and black bottom, sparkling with joy. For some reasons, I had specially treasured the morning ride to school in that same 'old' and small Transitlink bus container, apparently taking the very last chance to try my best to capture the beautiful scenaries of the journey to school.
Luckily, I had managed to time my journey well, meeting my friends on time at the main bus-stop which was now packed with other graduads. Heading towards our respective reporting Lecture Halls while joking along the way, I saw many of my course-mates who congratulated me for being the course gold-medallist. As a form of friendly gesture, I had returned my sincere appreciation to them. Next came the procession and after which the photo-taking sessions. Here, I shall not elaborate much in words but replacing will be some photos to highlight the event and the road to graduation!

From my point of view, I believed that everyone who had made themselves present had enjoyed the graduation procession greatly. Although it might only be a few seconds of fame for each of them, it is the hardwork and effort behind each graduads that should not be forgotten.
Just like the other four Gold Medallist of LSCT, I had tuly valued the opportunity to stand in the limelight while my citations were being read. Though it had been a deeply nervous experience for me, as can been seen by the audiences, I am really jusat as proud to have my achievements being shown to the school. More importantly, at this point in time, I wanted to thank all the Lecturers who had made my polytechnic education so fulfilling, especially to Mr. Ong Ban Choon and Mr. Wong Yew Loong. Without their words of knowledge and encouragement, I would not have achieved what I have today.
Last but not least, I want to take the chance to express my appreciation to those unsung heroes in my course of studies. I am not revealing the names of these great people and friends, for I believed that they should know who they are. In a similar context, without the positive peer competition and pressure given by you guys, I would not been able to graduate with the Shell Gold Medal & Prize that I had yearned for. The greatest motivation comes from my friends around me and I am very thankful for the help that I had so fortunately received.
Thank you very much once again and all the best!
